Please check this page for the latest information before the event.<br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">On the day of the event, the posted rules will take precedence over any prior information.<\/span> Please note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final decision on courses (updated on Sunday, July 20, at 3:30 a.m.)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As of 3:00 a.m. on July 20, the current situation is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Strong winds with average speeds of 15 m\/s or higher are blowing near Tengudake. At the event venue, which is located at the base of the mountain, gusts are occasionally blowing away tents. For this reason, we have determined that running in the mountainous area is too risky. Do not rely on your mobile phone (app).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/embed?mid=14cd71ylBINrnRb5UPWstLtB7hCpjTcI&#038;ehbc=2E312F&#038;noprof=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Questions and Answers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<dl class=\"swell-block-faq is-style-faq-box\" data-q=\"fill-main\" data-a=\"col-text\">\n<div class=\"swell-block-faq__item\"><dt class=\"faq_q\">Are there any rules regarding the shape or capacity of the required water cup?<\/dt><dd class=\"faq_a\">\n<p><strong>40K and 60K participants are required to bring their own personal drinking cups.<\/strong> Aid stations will provide bottled water and sports drinks, which participants are expected to pour into their own cups and drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Drinking directly from the bottle, even without touching your mouth, is prohibited as it may contaminate the bottle.<\/strong> Please ensure you bring your own personal cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>As long as the cup is suitable for its intended use, the size and shape are free<\/strong>. It does not have to be a trail running cup; for example, an aluminum Sherpa cup designed for outdoor use is also acceptable. Personally, I like Sherpa cups because they have a travel vibe. Aluminum cups can get scratched, but they are lightweight, so I recommend them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, there are no restrictions on the amount of water you can carry, so you may refill your flask or hydration pack with over 1 liter. <strong>Please ensure you have sufficient water supply.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/dd><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"swell-block-faq__item\"><dt class=\"faq_q\">If I am not feeling well on the day of the event, can I change to a shorter distance category?<br>What happens if one member of a pair cannot participate?<\/dt><dd class=\"faq_a\">\n<p>You may change to a shorter distance category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">you must notify us during the check-in period for the original category in which you registered<\/span><\/strong>. Your bib number will remain the same; only the category will change. Conversely, products from manufacturers who cannot answer questions may not be suitable for use<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When visually checking mandatory items, we use the following guidelines: <strong>checking for waterproof zippers and taped seams<\/strong>.
